17     The Inventor Of TV Sketch Comedy ERNIE KOVACS (1954)  Long     before SNL, imitated by his contemporaries (Berle, Gleason, Skelton), he     was the true inventor of TV sketch satire. 30     THE HONEYMOONERS ...IN COLOR! 1969  Ralph     & Ed are jailed in Paris, accused of counterfeiting. Ed's     escape plan backfires with hilarious results.
